Golden Gate Park: Japanese Tea Gardens and deYoung Museum

On a clear cool crisp Sunday morning, we drive up to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. We go into the Japanese Tea Gardens, it was Toby's first time. I thought the blossoms would be starting to bloom but it was a little too early. Afterwards we decided to walk over next door to the newly opened deYoung Museum. We originally didn't have plans to go into the museum but it was early enough, so we did. We went up into the Museum tower for fantastic views of the entire city. We quickly walked around the musem to see the new layout and newly acquired art pieces. It's a truly a modern museum and a new focal point for the park.
