Pigeon Point Lighthouse

On a bright Saturday, we head to the San Mateo coastline and drive down to Pigeon Point Lighthouse. On the way we stop off at Bean Hollow State Beach and check out the tidepools.

Along a butte overlooking the ocean along the San Mateo coastline.

Exploring Bean Hollow state beach and the bizarre rock formations.

Toby on a rock as the tide comes in and out.

Down the coastline we stop at Pigeon Point lighthouse.

It was a bright yet cool crisp day at the lighthouse.

It was very clear, you could see far along the coast.

On our way back we stop at the historic "Saltbox" house. The oldest house along the San Mateo coast (circa 1800s)
