Queen Mary 2 arrives in San Francisco

The world's largest ocean liner, The Queen Mary 2, makes it's inaugrual entrance into San Francisco Bay in it's world tour. We stake a spot up on the hills around Fort Mason to watch the historic arrival.

The Queen Mary 2 approaches the Golden Gate, where hoards of spectactors watch from the bridge's walkway.

The huge vessel clears the bridge by 28 feet and then makes it's way toward port, passing Chrissy Field.

The QM2 passes Alcatraz and Aquatic Park. It docks for one night, leaving Monday at 5pm for Honolulu.
