San Francisco with Staci

I join Jenna and Toby as they take their out-of-town co-worker Staci for a night out in San Francisco. This was her first visit to the City by the Bay.

After work on Friday I meet up with the group at their office in Redwood Shores. We hop into Jenna's Prius and then we head north reaching the city just as the sun was setting. We drive along the Embarcadero along the waterfront passing the protest camp as we head up the steep narraw streets toward Coit Tower. From the top of Coit Tower we were able to show Staci views of Alcatraz, Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge. The sun set as we headed toward Lombard street where we drove down the steep windy road. Our hunger levels were high so we drove down to Fisherman's Wharf and had a seafood dinner at Tarantino's with window views of the Wharf.

After dinner we walked by the Boudin Sourdough Factory toward Pier 39 and the various shops. The cool temperatures made up walk briskly toward the Buena Vista bar for a famed San Francisco original, the Irish Coffee. After we warmed up we strolled over to nearby Ghiradelli Square famous for their chocolates. We ended the night with a hot fudge sundae! There is nothing like ice cream on a cold night!

Staci hope you had a fun time in San Francisco!
